What?
This is a fantasy league for virtual baseball teams. There are 16 teams in the Greater League, and you pick one of those teams to support. Supporting a team means you can vote on weekly outcomes to influence the team, slowly shaping its place in the league. Supporting a team also allows you to create your own team in the Lesser League as a feeder team. Players from your personal team have the chance to get called up to the Greater League team you support as part of the voting process.

Doesn't baseball kinda suck?
Yeah, but virtual pets are cool. This is a virtual pet thing if a baseball team could be a pet. Imagine your Tamagotchi hitting a grand slam. That's fuckin' sick, right? It can happen now!

I think I heard about Blaseball once. Is this Blaseball?

What the fuck is Blaseball?
Blaseball was just the major league portion of this but with two additional features: gambling and cosmic horror. The latter eventually overtook the former as the draw. I'm hoping we get gambling back first.

I wasn't gonna give this a shot when I happened across it the other day, but fuck it, might be neat. I fell off of blaseball extremely early on but it was neat and, surprisingly, got me into actual baseball (which fucking whips actually, and I challenge ye to a duel anyone who would besmirch its good name) after decades of just not quite getting it. Curious to see what this ends up feeling like once it gets started. Thanks for the recommendation!
